4 Months

4 months since I've written anything on this blog.  Even longer since I've written something worth reading.

But guess what!! Getting ready to start a new blog. About my (hopeful) trip to Australia and everything I learn there. So exciting!! But this quarter in school is owning me...and alas, my blogging has suffered. If you still happen to follow me and you're reading this, kudos to you.  I would have stopped by now. Whoops.

Failure...

So I had a 30 day challenge....and while I completed the 30 days worth of devos, I stopped posting them up here.  .....I apologize!!! I have a billion excuses (and a lot are pretty valid) but it's whatever.

Moral of the story.

I need to stick to blogging once a week and not every day! Because that way I don't get 'blogger burn out'.

Fathersuarus Rex

I haven't blogged in forever....why? Mostly because I'm lazy. But also because finals combined with work and then finally getting a week off to catch up on all my sleep...well just didn't happen. Hope you didn't mind. :)

So I'm doing Summer quarter. Woot. I guess. Actually it starts Tuesday and will go for six weeks. Then I'll get my month off before finishing my last year!!! Crazy...only one year until graduation. Excited! So why am I not taking as much of break as normally planned this summer...well sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Life's a marathon, not a sprint. Sometimes you just have to plow through that billion degree hill and not stop even when you feel like you legs are going to fall off.

People are almost always surprised when I say I'm doing summer quarter. Who in their right mind would continue taking classes when they could have a break?!! At least that's what I used to say. But!! Finishing school two years early sounds wonderful to me. :) Then Australia? I think so.

So where's the lesson in this blog post? I'm not sure...kinda rambling. Maybe sometimes taking the hard route now will pay off in the end. Heck yes class of 2011!!  But!!!! I do have a sweet picture to show you for this Father's Day:

Enigmatic Introspection?

Blogging....I've been sucked into this cyberspace of communication.

I'm not sure how to approach this expedition of sharing my thoughts. My first conclusion was to be funny! Everyone loves reading comedic writings. I sure don't want my blogs to be boring...how horrid would that be? But I realize that my strengths do not lie in humor....or humor that everyone else gets (I personally think my jokes are hilarious...but no one else agrees). My second notion was to be philosophical! People like questioning and listening to theories on the purpose of man's existence, religion, theology, etc. But…alas…I’m too lazy. I barely understand my own speculations…so how would I ever put them into words on a computer screen?!! My final thoughts to sound insanely smart and use big words like “hippopotamus” and “antidisestablishmentarianism”. But…no one would understand anything!!!

Conclusion: I fail at blogging.

But wait!!! What’s this?!!….I have successfully created a blog of my very own! My own thoughts, reasoning, deductions, findings!

I guess it’s not as hard as I initially assumed. Weird.
